New supplier Transactiva at Protec Ingredia GmbH

We are very excited to introduce you to our new supplier Transactiva. Transactiva gives us a glimpse into the future of cosmetic ingredient production: Innovative processes combine nature and biotechnology with the latest science.

Founded in 2001, the research centre is based in Udine (Italy) and specialises in the development and production of complex pharmaceutical and bioactive molecules.

Since 2022, Transactiva has also been producing cosmetic active ingredients using an innovative technology: Plant Molecular Farming uses plants as natural bioreactors to produce customised polypeptides or proteins (protein biosynthesis). The high-quality and sustainable active ingredients with a pharmacological background are ideal for dermocosmetics and medical skin care.

First of all, discover the innovative active ingredient LenEasy®: it is produced from the leaves of the Australian tobacco plant N. benthamiana - and soothes the skin in record time.
