The BSB Innovation Awards shortlist is out

Five active ingredients from our portfolio listed

We are very excited: Five of our suppliers' innovations have made it onto the shortlist for the prestigious BSB Award! Founded by Dr Jan-Henric Riedel, the BSB Innovation Award has been honouring new cosmetic raw materials, conventional and natural cosmetic products and concepts for their innovative strength for over 20 years.

Our Swiss supplier Mibelle Biochemistry is represented in this year's shortlist with two active ingredients: PhytoCellTec™ Exosomes offers double exosome power and thus increases collagen and elastin production. VividEye™ is the comprehensive solution for the eye area; the active ingredient from apple mint strengthens the blood vessels and also promotes the lymphatic system.

The ‘green’ alternative to D-panthenol also made it onto the shortlist. Pantodium CICA from Codif Technologie Naturelle enables the skin to produce vitamin B5 in the correct physiological dose. This reduces scars and minimises redness and blemishes.

The next candidate on the shortlist from our portfolio is EcoPep from Oat Cosmetics. The active ingredient is made up of a unique blend of natural oat peptides and targets the key factors of hair ageing. In addition to supporting a vital scalp and healthy hair growth, EcoPep works on the hair bonds that are essential for a healthy hair structure.

Last but not least: the active ingredient LenEasy® is produced by our new supplier Transactiva srl using an innovative biotechnological process known as plant molecular farming. The green polypeptide significantly reduces inflammatory reactions in the skin in a very short time.

The BSB Innovation Awards 2025 will be announced during In-Cosmetics in Amsterdam in April. We are keeping our fingers crossed for our suppliers!
