Our commitment in the region

Our suppliers come from Switzerland, France, Great Britain and Italy. We distribute cosmetic ingredients not only in Germany, but also in Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands.

Nevertheless, we are firmly rooted in our region. ProTec Ingredia GmbH is based in Bensberg, near Bergisch Gladbach. That's why we like to get involved in regional projects here. Two current examples that are close to our hearts:

♦ On 19 March 2025, the second school-wide football competition took place at the BKSB Berufskolleg Kaufmännische Schulen Bergisch Gladbach. This vocational school is also attended by our trainees. The motto of this year's tournament was ‘Football against racism’. A total of eight women's teams and 31 men's teams took part. The winners were delighted to receive medals, trophies and prize money for the class funds, which were financed thanks to donations from the partner companies, of which we are one. ♦ We also support the creation of the ‘First aiders of tomorrow’ workbook, which was produced in collaboration with Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district. The easy-to-understand colouring book, game and workbook, including an app, is aimed at children aged five to eleven. It teaches the skills needed to provide first aid in emergencies and to recognise everyday sources of danger in the home, leisure activities and traffic in good time. Thanks to donations from local companies (such as ours), the colouring books, workbooks and posters are distributed free of charge to kindergartens in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district.
